Our story is one that proves all you need to start a business is people, passion…and one backhoe. Minger Construction began in 1984 when Patrick and Karen Minger purchased their first backhoe. This sparked a passion for utility reconstruction work that inspired Patrick and Karen to leap into the construction industry.
Minger Construction today is more than just two people and one piece of equipment, but the passion that started the company still burns strong. We now boast a full crew and extensive list of equipment including backhoes, dozers and loaders. Patrick and Karen passed along their love of construction to their son Luke, who is now taking over leadership as president of the company.
Three things have remained the same since Minger Construction started: we are committed to safety, quality and efficiency. Any construction project requires careful planning, and we have the experience to tackle complex jobs. It’s not enough for us to simply finish a job: it needs to be done right, and done right the first time. It’s our commitment to quality that established us as the go-to contractors for large-scale construction projects for countless corporations and local governments.
