MNDOT State Project No. 8210-115 TH 95

Replacement of a 35’ deep culvert under Highway 95 under a short 12-day road closure. Trenchless construction of a new 36” steel culvert with depths over 50’ under highway 95. Due to extreme ground conditions consisting of large cobbles and boulders, Minger utilized our GeoNex TDH Hammer boring system for the first time to complete the 240’ bore. The bore was completed in under 2 weeks, saving 4-6 weeks off the original project schedule and design, which consisted of conventional pipe jacking. Minger provided value engineering to change the design to our GeoNex to save time, costs and risks.
